Mitakuye Oyasin and Quantum Entanglement: What Physics Is Finally Proving the Ancestors Always Knew
by Bunny Sings Wolf | IndigenousHealing.io
I want to tell you about a prayer.
Not a request.
Not a petition to something distant and separate.
A description.
Two words that, spoken correctly — meaning lived correctly — contain the most precise account of reality that any human tradition has ever offered.
Mitakuye Oyasin.
All My Relations.
For the Lakota people, this is not a poetic closing. It is not a spiritual nicety appended to the end of ceremony the way some might say "amen" without quite meaning it anymore.
It is a physics statement.
It is a spiritual statement.
One and the same at once, and always.
A declaration about the actual structure of the universe — the web of relationship that underlies every particle, every person, every moment of apparent separation that the modern mind has been trained to mistake for truth.
For most of recorded Western history, science disagreed.
It doesn't anymore.
What Einstein Didn't Want to Be True
In 1935, Albert Einstein — along with two colleagues — published what he hoped would be the paper that disproved a troubling implication of the new quantum theory.
The implication was this: two particles, once connected, remain a single system no matter how far apart they travel. Measure one, and you instantly know something about the other — not because a signal passed between them, but because they were never truly separate to begin with.
Einstein called this "spooky action at a distance."
He found it philosophically unacceptable.
The universe, he believed, must be made of separate, locally-defined objects. Nothing could influence anything else faster than the speed of light. Separation was real. Distance was real. Independence was the foundation.
He spent the rest of his life trying to prove the quantum theorists wrong.
In 1964, a physicist named John Bell devised an experiment that could settle it. In 1972, the experiment was run.
And again. And again, with increasing precision, in laboratories around the world.
Einstein was wrong.
The universe is not made of separate, locally-defined objects.
Two particles, once entangled, remain one system across any distance.
The separation was always the illusion. The relationship was always the deeper truth.
The ancestors knew. They always knew. It simply took Western science three hundred years and several Nobel Prizes to arrive at the door never left by those who never separated themselves from the wisdom of the ancestors — no matter how pressured, no matter how "out of step" this made them appear to a world that churns and competes against itself in ways that the belief in separation keeps hidden at best, and condemned as dangerously old-fashioned at worst.
What This Means for Healing
I have spent my life walking what I call Nature's 4 resonance Steps — the best words I could find to define their resonant flow and movement are -
Balance, Harmony, Abundance, Peace.
These are not stages I invented. They are the natural resonating movement of any living system cycling, circling, ever-constantly reinforcing its original wholeness — regardless of the appearances or perceptions of those still bent on freezing and solidifying what is always and forever in a flow state.
And the quantum revelation maps directly onto that sacred path.
Balance asks us to take a step toward the most honest truth about where we actually are.
Like a quantum particle before it is observed, we hold infinite potential in that moment of chosen stillness.
Balance is simply the willingness to be truly seen — just as we are already seen by all of creation to which we are naturally connected. In this way we observe our true selves by our true selves, as a renewed first step back into our sacred remembering.
Harmony is the step where the entanglement becomes visible to us again. Where we stop experiencing ourselves as separate, defended, isolated objects — and begin to feel our actual nature: relational, interconnected, non-local.
While quantum physics is building the mathematical language for what the ancestors lived as daily reality,
we are welcomed back to this
Harmony and remove all stops in our awareness. Freedom awaits when we understand the false belief in separateness and begin to let it go — so we may return to our thriving selves. The ones we were at ages three to five, when for moments between the concerted efforts of a material, competitive, commercial world bent down with its full force upon our innocent happy hearts — we still knew our belonging to life's honest nature and eternal welcome.
(now is the good time to remember this!)
Abundance flows naturally from Harmony — because when you know you are not separate from the web of life, scarcity loses its grip.
You are not a lone particle bouncing through a cold and indifferent universe, competing for limited resources.
You are a precious, valued, integrally sacred part of the entire, unending and always-flowing system of Abundance. A unique fractal expression of it that can only be contained in your being.
And the system of Abundance — all of it, in and from all directions, across all apparent distances — is oriented faithfully, consistently, dependably, passionately toward LIFE.
When you remember that, the world looks and feels genuinely different.
Peace is not the absence of uncertainty.
Even quantum systems wobble and move, shiver, flow and vibrate at the individual level.
Peace is the ever-present scale upon which we balance — the ultimate settler into that firm and reliable trust that beneath all the apparent chaos of particles and people and distance and loss, there is one gorgeous and elegant system, perfectly designed to always nurture the resonance flow of all its expressions.
One fabric.
One web of relations that nothing — no distance, no time, no suffering — has ever actually broken.
Mitakuye Oyasin is not a goodbye.
It is actually a constant HELLO —
with a forever loving smile behind it.
It is a physics lesson.
It is a healing modality.
It is a way of seeing that the most advanced science humanity has produced is only just barely beginning to confirm.
You are here now, on the cusp of something wonderful!
Four steps ahead.
The thrill of that thought alone is here to make your day — and hopefully every step along Nature's 4 Steps, a joy beyond anything your imagination has ever toyed with.
Come play with us in this circle as we resonate this vibrancy and wellness along a path that has waited for eons for humans to begin to enjoy and accept as a global community.
This is why we are here now.
The Stone That Holds It All
Nine miles from where I write these words, Mato Tipila rises from the Wyoming plains — the great stone the Lakota have known as Bears Lodge (home of healing, the Tree of Life) since the first peoples walked this earth. Scientists date its geological formation to 40 to 50 million years ago. The nations who have held it sacred have done so for as long as human memory reaches (and the geological records coming out now are showing humans have lovingly occupied the continent of what is now the United States for over 300,000 years - much longer than previously admitted, and more than long enough to convince any skeptic that what was passed forward too us through all those years and held sacred for that length of time holds some serious resonance power worthy of remembering).
That stone is not separate from you.
(now is the good time to remember this!)
The great physicist Carl Sagan used to say — almost jokingly, because the world wasn't quite ready to truly receive it
— "We are all made of star stuff." He had to say it lightly, because nobody quite knew how to believe this astonishing statement.
But it is simply true.
Not poetically.
Not metaphorically.
Quantum mechanically, physically, actually — every atom in that ancient column of igneous rock shares the same origin as every atom in your body, in the body of the person you love most, in the body of the person you find most difficult to love.
We are, in the most literal scientific sense available to us, made of the same stuff, entangled across the same web, participating in the same living system — integral peaces of the wholeness, without which the whole could not be whole.
And the wholeness has designed this in no other way than to include us all, naturally.
(now is the good time to remember this!)
The Lakota ceremony that has been held at that stone since before recorded history is not superstition. It is the oldest scientific experience on earth — a sustained, multigenerational study and remembrance of what happens when human beings remember their entanglement with all of creation and act accordingly.
What happens is healing.
Not the healing of a symptom.
The healing of the illusion of separation itself — which naturally heals everything conceived as separation back into wholeness.
And in that moment, the scale balances.
An Invitation Into the Field
On Summer Solstice 2028, the vision that has lived in my dreams for nearly 76 years will take physical form: up to 1,400 Life-honoring Resonance Walkers — stepping daily into their lives in the resonance of Nature's 4 moving, resonating, energetic steps — will bring their balance, harmony, abundance, and peace as walking definitions of how that all feels and looks, gathering to circle Mato Tipila together, live-streamed to the world, as one resonating field of human hearts remembering their original nature.
Not a performance.
Not a protest.
Not a tourist event.
A heartful, love-resonating, joyful walk.
A quantum experiment in collective healing — envisioned by dreamers, prophets, and visionaries throughout time — because of our capacity to invite and join with everyone on the planet who holds a device for connection that day, this has been dreamed to be the largest such gathering this land has hosted in the modern era, fulfilling what Crazy Horse saw when he said:
"I see a time of Seven Generations when all the colors of mankind will gather under the Sacred Tree of Life and the whole Earth will become one circle again."
That tree is Mato Tipila.
That tree is also contained within each body with a nervous system and life energy flowing through it.
That circle is forming now — one healing heart at a time, through communities already joining in smaller circles, awakening to remember and walk the simple ways of being a constantly flowing, walking part of Nature's 4 Steps in the Circle the Walk of Peace Path — in ONEness, finally, consciously, joyously together.
Entangled.
Inseparable.
One flow.
One ever-healing, constantly resonating, life-nurturing living heart. From the heart of everything that is.
(now is the good time to remember this!)
And in each individual cell of this ONEness, the perceived separations of nations will meld naturally into one healed and healing world of humanity — that will naturally nurture and bless all our relations, and set in motion all the elegant beauty and understanding to bless all future generations.
You do not have to understand quantum physics to feel this truth.
You already feel it — in the moments when a stranger's grief moves through you as if it were your own, in the way a piece of music from a culture you have never visited lands in your chest like a homecoming, in the inexplicable pull toward a stone, or a place you have never been, that somehow already knows your name.
That is not imagination. That is your quantum nature speaking.
Mitakuye Oyasin is the answer it has always been giving.
All my relations.
All of them.
Across every distance.
In every direction.
For all time.
Come walk this circle with us.
